Personally I love this album! It is my first Black Keys album but I am sure to love the others, I have heard various other tracks which I love. This is my favorite 2010 work thus far.

Not a new release, but meh whatever.
I voted 'It's pretty darn good! ' |
'It's Pretty Darn Good!'
I really enjoyed playing along to this album on guitar. It tends to get a little samey when just listening, but it's still quite good. |
It's far too long but the first half is solid and there are a few other gems sprinkled about, such as my favorite, 'Sinister Kid'...

It was a pleasant surprise for me because I wasn't expecting that much after their last few albums. Catchy, fun, and enough to keep me interested through to the end. Definitely not one of the best albums of 2010 but enough to get the Black Keys back in my good grace.

It's okay, nothing special, my favourite songs are: The Only One, Howlin For You and Tighten Up.

I voted pretty darn good, but was tempted to vote in the middle. It's a decent album. It's grown on me a bit but has recently tapered back off. It starts off with 3 solid tracks, plateaus a bit, The Only One jumps back out, hits a lull, then finished off on a decent note with the last 4 songs. Just a little too inconsistent, in my opinion, and there are no tracks that truly jump out and grab 'hold of you...

Excellent album. I've never heard anyone say an album is "too long" if they generally liked it, but whatever. It's 15 songs and 55 minutes, that's not particularly long for that many songs. 1, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 13 are my favorites.
