I voted decent. Initially, I would have given it a 'good' rating, but I have just recently listened to Slim Shady LP a few times and was reminded of his potential.

Good seems appropriate. It was maybe a few great tracks short of amazing.

Great album, still not up there with the likes of The Eminem Show and The Marshall Mathers LP, but a strong effort regardless. His lyrical expertise has made a valiant return. His new style of delivery is still in the process of finding itself, but a lot of that has to deal with him experimenting with a lot of different types of beats on this album. Only one track gives production credit to Dr. Dre, leaving te rest of the tracks with a scattered and back and forth feeling. On Fire, Almost Famous and So Bad are the only songs that really sound like a throw back to his old style. The rest of the tracks take on new new form, including techno sampling and even turning a Black Sabbath song into a infectious rap ballad a la 'Sing With Me', the remake of Aerosmith's 'Dream On' from the Eminem Show.

This album definitely put Em back on the right track, and if he continues to move in the right direction, and maybe simplify the production a little bit, we could see Eminem at his very best in the near future.

I like Eminem's deeper cuts.

This album did not impress me, I wanted to like it but I did not.

I liked it more than I thought I would, but not as much as I would have liked to. (That is double talk for it's a'right).....Hey, he has popular appeal, though, what can you say to that?

I think lyrically he has surpassed all of his previous albums and any other artist in the game. His puns, punchlines, metaphors, and analogies take a few times through to catch half of them and they are so well thought out that it is clear he is indeed sober. Not too bad for a high school drop out.

It's a very good album. Can't say it's his best album, but we'll find out

I disagree with just about every single thing you said.

Well, he's sober on it though, right?

Jester - what do you think of the album?
I want to know if I should even listen to it once.
