It would be a wonderful album if it wasn't so damn overproduced and every song wasn't structured out like a single....
He sounds miserable for most of the album. I think Eminem makes the best music when he's pissed off but hopeless depression suits him fine. The lyrics are a little quirky, and even when he seems too depressed to crack jokes, he's cracking them. A few of the songs are absolutely terrible ("Cinderella Man") and on a couple of the tracks, I think he just gave up halfway through, but it has its moments.
