I think his biggest problem now is his voice. He sounds like a yelping dog now. What happened to that really clear and distinct style he used to be known for?

Is that really it though? 5 years isn't a terribly long time. In my opinion, it's more like he self-produces now. He doesn't necessarily have Dre behind him telling him how to sound, so all his raps begin with him starting normally and then coalesce in him shouting after a few lines, which is where he stays for the entirety of his songs.

Unless you're right, and it is just age... or the substance abuse ruined his voice.

If he would have removed about 5 tracks from this album it would be his best. Too many fillers, but a lot of real emotionally tracks
