So far, these are a few of my favorites.

Kraftwerk
Boards of Canada
Aphex Twin
Autechre
Venetian Snares
Clark
µ-Ziq
Popol Vuh (More krautrock, I know)
The Orb
Squarepusher
The Flashbulb
Bibio
Arovane
Floex
Ceephax

I've tried Brian Eno, and Tangerine Dream, but I've yet to really dig them.
I'm kind of with you on Tangerine Dream, but if you haven't liked Eno yet, I suggest checking out the 1978 album "After the Heat" that he did with Moebius and Roedelius of krautrock band Cluster. If you haven't checked out Cluster, Moebius, or Roedelius yet, I suggest that you look into their work as well. Lastly, Jon Hassell's work is great. I highly recommend checking out his 1983 album "Aka/Darbari/Java."
