Another newcomer to the genre here. Looking for stuff like Electrocada. This track is an iffy example, I recommend listening to a few other tracks from this album, it's all varied and all awesome.
I can't describe exactly what I like about it, the groovy feel of it I guess? Most of the stuff within this genre I dislike because it is far too repetitive. So I guess I like albums that keep it really fresh constantly and don't use the same drum beat all song long while adding one synth line every 4th measure. Uh, can't do links yet. If you don't know Electrocada, listen to "The Jolly Frog", "Haas to be Haas", or "The Lo-Fi Blues". Tell me what subgenere this would be considered please. |

So I was listening to Seems the other day and decided that I really like whatever I was listening to, which turned out to be IDM. Amy suggestions for what are essential IDM albums, or groups, or whatever? Please, nothing house related unless it's really freaking fantastic, I don't like house.
