They're alright, I can see why some would dig them. They'll definitely stick around in my library for the sometimes epiphany-esque repeat listen.

If you're unfamiliar with I Monster I would recommend them. Their 2003 album Neveroddoreven is a standby classic for me and jumps between so many different genres, all while staying firmly grounded in their electronic base.

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to get more into electronic music after being exposed (and liking) Radiohead's more electronic stuff like Kid A. I've been delving into some stuff like Flying Lotus, Four Tet, Massive Attack, and some Aphex Twin and liked a fair amount of it -- and I'm also really liking some of Caribou's more recent stuff.
Could anyone recommend where I should go from here? Thanks. Last edited by boldprint; 06-23-2012 at 10:17 PM. |

Artists like Netsky
I am looking for artists whose music style is similar to Netsky's. I would appreciate if someone could give a few suggestions considering that the kind of music I am looking for sounds like Netsky's "Detonate" and "Get Away From Here". Something fast but melodic, with occasional lows and slow downs and rich variety of sounds would be terrific. Thanks is advance!

Dubstep wise Rusko is definitely my favorite artist of now. He hooked me with his subfocus remix of hold on, netsky remix of everyday, and his track wooboost. Also I like BeastMode by eliminate, it goes hard in the paint. Sorry all of these suggestions have vocals, but not annoying ones. I'm like that too I mainly listen to music for the beats and vocals can potentially ruin a song for me. Oh yeah! I almost forgot to add Yaow and harlem shake by baauer. He's dope non traditional dubstep/trap/pimpness lol lots of bass.
