Hey does anybody know any good acts (preferably psytrance, but any genre is fine) that incorporate a lot of guitars as seen in the newest Infected Mushroom album?

To give you an idea of what I'm talking about:

Anyway, this is really the only one I really liked was this one. The first two were a bit too... I don't know. Abrasive? The noises that was the beat was really aggravating. Not sure what to call that. Industrial of some sort.

And the house one at the end bored me to death.

But I appreciate the effort! If anyone else cares to try, I'm up for a listen!

I can't be surprised! It's Minimal. Some of it, which you picked up on, is influenced by Industrial. I think I actually tried to post all Techno, since you mentioned not knowing if there was any such thing. I do know of some Ambient that's dark, but then again there's a whole genre dedicated to it. Hopefully someone else may be able to help you out!

unfortunately I can't post a link, but maybe something ambient like:
aphex twin - window sill

I find it a bit repetitive, but a good listen when say uhhhh doing some menial task on the pc or something

So far I have not seen Tipper anywhere on MB so I thought this would be a good place to recommend him. The album The Seamless Unspeakable Something is particularly good. I like the tribal feel and insect-like sounds of the album. I think one of the best descriptions of the album I've heard was from my girlfriend who said it sounded like the Death Star had a stomach ache.

Man, those songs are ancient. Not a bad thing, I just haven't heard them in forever.

Hey kids, need some help!

I'm a modern dance choreographer and I'm looking to make a new piece, but I can't find any music that seems right. I need something minimal, dark, maybe spooky?, possibly something that starts off very simple and then builds up to a steady beat; other possibility could be the inclusion of everyday noises (clock tick, heartbeat, door slam, cars honking...anything from the real world I guess). No ambient or crazy party tunes please!

No idea if any of this makes sense, but maybe someone will have an idea? I've used a lot of Stewart Walker and Aphex Twins in the past, also quite a bit of Praxis.

Hope you electronic gurus can lend me a helping hand.
