I guess not all of that is strictly speaking electronica but hopefully it gives you an idea of what I'm looking for: cold, poppy, analog synth stuff. Suggestions?
Aviador Dro (they have a compilation album named Ópera científica), Azul y Negro and Zombies:

Some lad at work pesters me constantly to listen to this kind of stuff, usually by stuffing an earphone in my ear.
That was when I heard 'No Chorus' for the first time and it struck me as being different straight away.
Interesting guy.

Oh he is an odd bird for sure, but one of the most talented and actually one of the oldest still active hip hop mc's in the industry. He was one of the original members of Ultramagnetic MCs, who released their first single in 1985 (he's 48). But yeah, he goes by Kool Keith, Black elvis, Dr. Octagon, Dr Dooom, Keith Korg (one third of The Analog Brothers), et al. among others. he's definitely the crazy uncle of the hip hop world.
