I personally think it's an amazing album.
Maybe their best? Ehh, I wouldn't say that yet.
Crying Lightning is amazing. <3

Wow, there are people out there who actually think Crying lighting is an amazing song...:|

Humbug is a bigtime grower. I think Jeweler's Hands might be the best thing they've ever done.

FWN was about Sheffield nightclubs or even 1/10th about Sheffield nightclubs? News to me.

Guess you didn't listen much, eh mate?

I cannot believe a fan of garage rock in any capacity would've found FWN boring. I struggle to think of a dull moment.

As for Humbug, well, it's not out yet so there's no way to listen to it - but I'm sure I'll end up liking it a ton.

I wasn't referring to FWN, I was referring to the people who have been complaining about their musical growth since their second album. Yeh I found large portions of FWN dull and I've even heard anyone refer to the Arctic Monkeys as garage rock, so idk where that's coming from.

I need to listen to Humbug more, but I don't find it as exciting/anything as good as Favourite Worst Nightmare. Maybe I'm just not getting something.

Really good. I enjoy the more laidback approach in comparison to their earlier work. Lyrically brilliant, and far more diverse than their first two albums, though I think I prefer Favourite Worst Nightmare.

When I listened to it Pretty Visitors stood out and I deemed it my favorite track. Everything else I didn't pay much attention to. I guess I have to listen to it a few more times. I have a feeling that I'm going to enjoy Humbug so much more than FWN.

I'm a fan, Favourite Worst Nightmare is still my fave, and I don't whether this quite hits the heights of that, but it's not far off.

I'm a huge, huge, huge fan of Joshua Homme so this album really takes the cake for me. Considering that The Arctic Monkeys are one of my favorite modern day bands, it's amazing seeing them team up with the mastermind behind Desert Sessions, Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal, and Them Crooked Vultures. I hear every influence vividly and frankly, I'm relieved this band didn't go back to making the same kind of music that the past two albums consisted of even though they both were very good.
