It's well in step with his recent material, yet it has it's own feel. It's not as good as Modern Times, and it's nowhere near the level of Time Out of Mind or Love and Theft. I voted "Very Good".
Average at best, made no impression on me whatsoever.
Modern Times is an awesome album, maybe I'll listen to this one. My dad has been playing songs from it recently.
Haven't heard it yet, but I really don't have much faith in him putting out 2 awesome albums in a row at this stage in his career.
I'm enjoying it a lot - vinyl edition, which has different mastering and a different song order - Robert Hunter is a terrific collaborator for Bob, they bring out good things in each other
i don't really listen to his new stuff but i'd say average (if his vocals sounded like when he was young it'd be brilliant, best, etc...)
Jolene is a good song, but otherwise I wasn't really very impressed, so I voted average. I like that he's still making music at this stage of his career though.
I voted Good. It doesn't really stand out like his last three, but it's an enjoyable listen.
Pretty awful. A few nice tracks and Hidalgo is a the saving grace on them but this is Dylan's weakest since
the Under the Red Sky I'd say. Perhaps since Empire Burlesque which IMO is still his worst. |
