I actually really enjoyed the album. Yes, he used autotunes and he should never perform live/freestyle(pinocchio story) but it was a very well produced album that was completely different from other albums. I originally heard that it sounded so different that they were thinking about releasing the album under a "new" artist's name. They had originally planned to release it under a different name to test the public and see if there was a market for it. I would argue that if they were to do that this album wouldn't have sold 100 copies.

doesn't that make it a poor album if it sold on the strength of kanye's reputation alone? Led Zeppelin famously released the album IV without the name "Led Zeppelin" on it to prove that they weren't selling cd's because of the band's rep, and it went and sold hundreds of thousands of copies.

Yea exactly, I'm saying that I liked the album but I probably wouldn't have bought or listened to the thing if his name wasn't attached to it.
