Tried this album twice. Still think it was just average, with more time spent wishing for the next track instead of actually enjoying it. Not sure why all this hype is going down.

I've found myself listening to Weird Era more than Microcastle lately, although I still think Microcastle's better. Still, "VHS Tape", "Focus Group", "Slow Swords" and "Cavalry Scars II" are all awesome.

I have had this a week...It grows better each time I listen...Mine also came with an extra CD called The Weird Era Continued...I haven't listened to that yet.

I've gotten into Bradford James Cox projects lately. This album is pretty good, calls for repeat listens.

It's weak compared to everything else Cox has done. I feel that it is basically a load of rubbish. I spent a good while trying to like this CD, but it's just plain weak. It might have the ideas, but it lacks the songs. Hence why I'd much rather listen to Deerhunter.

Supposovely "Logos", the follow up to "Let the Blind Lead those who can See..." is more straightforward and alot better. I'm excited. |
