Ok, after giving this album a few listenings I will say it's not AWFUL, but it is certainly not spectacular. Rivers needs to stop repeating himself so much, we get it... you don't wanna change for me, you like to fit into your underwear and you (sarcastically) want nothing more then to be cool. I feel like you can blend the last 3 albums into one and you won't be able to tell which songs go on which album... WRITE SOME MORE CREATIVE **** ALREADY!!!!
ok I'm done. |
the greatest man that ever lived is a great song, asides from that the rest of the album isn't really worth listening to again

thumbs up

This album was pretty disappointing. Which sucks because Weezer's one of my favorite bands.
|
I adored the Red album, it has all the smarmy ego I expected from Rivers, and takes all the lessons from the past ten years of music, boils it down and shows you that Weezer does understand the mainstream, and can happily exploit it while still making catchy, in-depth music that encourages you to bob and sing along.

I wasn't too fond of it. I enjoyed their green album a lot more.

I find this album to be highly underrated among people. It seems some music fans are unwilling to except that anything can even come near the blue album and everything's just no competition. Well that may be true to an extent, but the red album still rivals Pinkerton for Weezer's seconde best album
