Default Madonna - Hard candy

It's not out yet (at least I can't find it), but it's only a matter of days until the leak, the 11th studio album from the queen of pop is being released April 28th in Europe and a day later in the U.S.. It's getting some mixed reviews, slated by the BBC praised by Rolling Stone (4/5)...what are your thoughts, expectations etc...? I'm keeping my expectations low seeing as how it's produced by Timbaland and The Neptunes (I haven't heard anything particularly good from either in years) and features Justin Timberlake on 5 tracks, but hey, maybe I'll be in a for a nice surprise...(I still haven't heard anything from it, including the single 4 minutes, I'm waiting for the album).

Discuss!

I'll listen but I will say one thing without having heard anything, Madonna needs to start showing some decency with her album covers. She's almost 50, no one wants to see that!

Thats pretty tame, the new video is very..... fleshy.
Its a shame really because her in the 80's was one of my big crushes. But thats Madonna for you, she does what the hell she wants, and i respect that.

Classic Madonna. Buying in the biggest producers of the time to make sure she stills sounds modern.

No offence but **** you. Just because she doesn't fit your ideal chauvinistic needs since she's gone from grape to raisin, doesn't mean sisters cannot do it for themselves. I'm sure adidasss will cover me on this one.

Yeah but the thing is, at 50, she looks younger and better than Fergie!

whole thing has leaked....

"Miles away" and "Devil Wouldnt Recognize You" are pretty cool.

The whole album should have been in the same direction as these two tracks. Theyre darker and seem to shed more emotion than the other monotonous club tracks on the album. I'm not saying that the rest of the album is bad, it's just not nearly as good as these two songs. "Devil" has a trip-hop feel, which brought me back to the Ray of Light days, probably one of her most exceptional eras. While "Miles Away", although shedding a tinge of Timbaland's more modern production, adds some acoustics along with Tim's signature beat boxing. Swells of synth and strings are layered with Madonna's vocals over the chorus, which is a beautiful touch.
