Had a few listens, at the mo i'm a bit disappointed.
Its a little similar in mood to Pod, but the songs overall aren't as good. I like German Studies, but apart from that nothing particularly stands out like tracks did on Last Splash.
Its pleasant enough, but thats it really.

I've had this a few weeks and can't bring myself to listen to it yet.

The Breeders were one of my favourite bands in the mid 90s. Even more so than The Pixies. Title TK was a total bag of suck , I'm worried this album will soil my memories even more.

Feel abit the same urban but according to metacritic reviews it's better than TK. I'll probably put it on today.. eek!

That was my worry. On first listen I wasn't too sure but after 2 or 3 times I've grown to quite like it. It might not be the best Breeders album but there's a lot to like on here. It's always difficult when you've spent so many years listening to the tracks on Pod / Last Splash / Safari / Head To Toe etc to not compare anything new to the classic old stuff.

All the tracks sound like demos, I feel that they could of captured the songs alot better than what is on the record. saying that track 9 regalame esta noche makes me want to be the meat in a 'deal' sandwich.
