It barely feels like they have been away. There are a couple of fillers on the album but The Dog's A Vapour is a stunning track. I will elaborate at a later date after full digestion.

Interesting, but I've heard some not-very-kind views on this. I'm gonna listen to it soon.

'The Dog's a Vapour' is indeed a stunning track, but its nothing new, in as far as it was recorded for the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack, but its typical Bauhaus.
As is, probably the best track on the album, 'Mirror Remains' which reminds me of a creepy, but kooky version of VU's 'Rose Garden Funeral of Sores'.
Another stand out track is 'Black Stone Heart'...Murphy at his Bowiesque best.
The second half of this album outclasses the first half easily.

I'm a biased Bauhaus fan that's left a little disappointed, probably because it's took this long to put out another album and because this will undoubtedly be their last.
I'd have preferred it to have been a little more edgy.
Still gets a 'Very Good' all the same.
