In Europe perhaps. Very few know of Arctic Monkeys here in America so they are a fairly refreshing sound.

That's really interesting. Here in Australia they are played to death on the radio and to be honest I'm a little sick of them.

One of my roomates is the only other person that I know at both my college and my hometown that listens to Arctic Monkeys.

P.S. I had an amazon.com giftcard and preordered their DVD that's coming out so I'm interested to see how that turns out.

About half its tracks are duds and lazy Libertines rip-offs. Granted, the good tracks are superb, but the album has nothing like the cohesion and overall consistency of FWN.

QFT. Also a lot of their new stuff is up on YouTube and such if that interests you, but to be honest, I wasn't the least bit impressed.

I reckon it's better to wait for the album to come out. Much of the online material may be b-side based.

My inclination is to believe that Alex Turner can churn out at least one more tolerably good album.

I just got this album! I've never heard of the arctic monkeys before but this album is growing strong on me. I think I'm gonna get used to their style here pretty soon. I give it 7 out of 10.
