he was just being a bit of a douche, don't pay attention
album was damn good though, fun hooks, catchy melodies and lyrics. i just hate this "i hate hipster" attitude that comes with a thread about a band like this. fans don't make the music, the band does. it is like when i hear people get on dave matthews band for being a bro band. yeah! their fans are bros but dave writes some very fun, sometimes funky, and often beautiful songs with interesting and reflective lyrics. so what if his fan base is primarily a bunch of ****s? if you say you didn't like this album after giving it a good full objective listen, then "thats cool, thanks for giving it a try." is all that can be said. but when you go on here and go "listened to a track or two. hipster garbage" then all i want to say is "**** off" |

I just found this thread because of whoever bumped it, it's very old but my input anyway. It's still a decent album, but it's definitely not one of those that makes me want to listen again and again. But really, there is so much music released in a year, and if you actually even half attempt to keep up with it, you realize how much just decent stuff there is. Very few new albums ever appeal to me to the point that I want to listen to them constantly. That said, I'm not voting because someone left off good :/
