On the album specifically, it isn't a bad album and I strongly disagree with anybody who claims so. Neither is it particularly derivative or generic/faceless, as others seem to be insisting on suggesting. What it is, is a somewhat enjoyable album (for your typical indie pop fan) which manages to do its own sort of thing within the niche, but without being remarkable all the same. All I want now is another Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga or a Hissing Fauna... |

I thought the album was pretty good. Reminded me of Band of Horses and a few other indie acts. Sure, it wasn't anything spectacular (like the Fleet Foxes s/t), but it was certainly a worthwhile accomplishment. I...don't remember all of it right now, but needless to say, I liked it.

Fantastic album. It's a really pretty and addictive sound, IMO.
