This album is probably so bad, haha, I heard a song from these guys and I was laughing hysterically about how stupid the vocals/singing was. Then I found out who the song was by and I remembered my friend going on and on about how awesome they were. But then again he thinks Atreyu are "ttly rad bro".

American Capitalist - 5FDP.
5FDP is not a Metal band in the first place. They are Heavy Metal with a little Thrash.
But I do agree, a (mainstream labeled) .. Metal band. Their 2011 album American Capitalist, more resonates a throwback Heavy Metal sound, with a litlle Thrash Metal accent here and there throughout most the album. Songs like, If I Fall, Wicked Ways, Back for More, and Over and under It, in particular. The Pride, has the more Mainstream vibe. Their "Deluxe Edition" is OK. (electronic, heavy basslines) Should go over OK in the nite clubs. Heavy Metal/Thrash? 100 ways to Hate {Deluxe Edition} is OK as well, gotta funk groove to it. |
