I guess this album is good but maybe not so good as a first album.
Try In Absentia and Deadwing.
If you would like these two, than try Lightbulb sun and Stupid Dream.
But don't start with new The Incident, it really isn't good album for beginners.
Albums from 90th are different than albums after 2000.

Are you Opeth fan? Than if I remember well, Mikael's favourite albums are Stupid Dream and FOABP.

My favourite PT album followed by Deadwing...

Lightbulb Sun is almost my favourite now though, I can't stop listening to it. But I still go back to Up The Downstair and Voyage 34 almost always. The Incident has a whole new appeal for me after watching them perform it entirely live.

My band decided to cover the title track for this weekend's Halloween show. That bit in the middle right after the crazy drum stuff where it gets really heavy and fast is really fun to play.

One czech band made cover of Fear of a blank Planet too. I would say it's not bad but female singer doesn't fit.

Fantastic album! The Incident was a bit of a let down compared to ...Blank Planet.
