Something inside of me desperately wants to not hate Tom Yorks voice so I can enjoy Radiohead.

It's good, as far as songs go I like House Of Cards & Bodysnatchers

I don't think it's their best album though

i would have to agree ^ ^ i dont think its their best, i think its more like they went backwards to the formula like having to do with OK computer, with a bit of their more electronic or "risky" efforts...

nonetheless its a great album, but it doesnt hold up against the rest of their catalogue IMHO.

agreed. i think Thom's solo album influenced In Rainbows alot, and thats why theres more of the electronic stuff going on.

Not a bad album, not great either. It doesn't suffer from being patchy it's the whole thing. It feels less involved and lacking edge. They butchered nude comparing it to old live versions.. it sounds overly produced and laboured over.
They should of recorded the whole album with more of a 'live' feel. "check for pulse"
Didn't make it into my top 10 of 2007. but I'd put it above pablo and kid A.
1)okcomputer 2)thebends 3)amnesiac 4)HTTT 5)inrainbows 6)kidA 7)pablo.

I have listened to this album maybe 2-3 times and still cannot bing myself to like it. I feel the same way about almost all of Radioheads music. They have some good singles now and then but overall just seem very boring and unexciting. There songs all seem very repetitive and extremely boring. I have tried on multiple occasions to give them a chance, listening to Ok Computer, Kid A and a few others, all of which i felt the same way.

Im sure i will be flamed madly for this, which all the Fanboys yelling you dont know what your talking about and there the last thing from boring... But to that i say nothing, because i can't, the music just sounds very dull and uneventful.

Edit: Another thing i can not stand about them, it there profound love for half acoustic half electronic drum tracks. I realize that is the style, but the mix of the two i feel does not mesh together well.
