Typing an extra letter doesn't take that much time at all, and if you're such rushed for time an internet forum probaly isn't the best place to be.

Morbid lyrics?! Please, list any of panics! lyrics that are morbid, Time To Dance has that whole shes not bleeding on all the ballroom floor just for the attention line, but I wouldn't considered that morbid.

i have alot of spare time i just prefer to type like this coz its faster. its only a forum it doesnt need perfect spelling, people can still understand me...

i kno genres arent based on how people look but it is a small factor, hence goth shops, emo shops (e.g Star in mansfield) etc, selling clothes for that type of person, so they can dress emo gothic punk or watever else...

The song really isn't what i'd call morbid. I find it funny a metal band would have problems with dark lyrics, also lyrics don't affect a genre of music either. So basically, you've yet to prove its emo and all your ideas as to why they are have been incorrect.

its lovely that you care so much to put the whole story but i really dont care, the parts i picked were morbid emo lyrics, and yes i used one song twice but with 2 different emo parts. also ppl say panic are pop yet u say they have datk lyrics ppl need to make up their minds...

Music makes a genre not the lyrics. Vocal approach takes a part but doesn't have to be completely constant for a genre. Emo is emotive hardcore basically hardcore punk in a more coherant form. Seeing how panic isn't punk they can't be emo.

Answer: Emo has a sound. Apparently this applies to lots of styles of music.

Strange as it might seem, some people like to classify music by how it sounds. I hardly believed this either when somebody first told me. Apparently, when people are playing music you're meant to base a lot of your opinions on that music from how it sounds. Crazy theory, if you ask me.

I mean, I was always pretty convinced that Boyzone, Tom Lehrer and Lois Armstrong were all in the same musical category, as they all wore suits. Likewise, Limp Bizkit must've been drum'n'bass because they wore big trainers, the Chilli Peppers and The Pussycat Dolls are the same style because they like taking their clothes off and Nirvana and Hanson go in the same category because they had blond lead singers.

Makes perfect sense.
