Identifying an unknown music clip of poor quality
 

Hello!
I joined this forum primarily because for nearly two years now I have been trying to identify a small excerpt of music that was on a YouTube video with no luck.

The quality is not that great because it is mixed with audio from the video and low quality, still someone who knew the song would recognize it i'm sure.

It sounds like new age a bit and someone suggested Spiral Systems but I couldn't find it in their songs list.

I tried all the music recognition resources like Shazam etc but none recognized it.

What would you recommend as a way to identify such a piece?

First I'd post the video. Click the "Wrap [YOUTUBE] tags around selected text and insert everything after the V= (numbers and letters only) and let us see what you're talking about.

In other words, say the link was FgYY7i, as in after the v=FgUU7i, then past that in between "" to get the video to show up here.

I'm having trouble finding the original YouTube video that I heard the clip in. I have a capture of the audio only on my PC but I do not know how to or if it's even possible to share that here.

- Try uploading your file onto vocaroo.com. Then post the link here.
- If your file is MP4 then you can upload it to You Tube and then on here.

Well done on finding your track. I'm elated for you (I know how it feels). I'm pretty sure you don't need 12 more posts, but I needed to cover my arse in my original reply because I'm a newbie and I didn't want to give you any tips which could get you and me chucked out. But then TH came in and squared things out.
I'm very curious to know what your track is. Is it something you were thinking of, or completely different?

You don't need to link it, just post the YT as I showed you. Or give me the link and I'll post it. No minimum amount of posts is required to put up a YouTube; people always read that wrong. Maybe the rules are due an update or amendment, guys?

Ya know...the Word "Mitosis" has been in the title since I first saw it...but I always thought that was the name of the technique they were showing.
Turns out THAT might be the name of the Group <sigh>
