Can you identify any of these Baroque or Renaissance pieces?
Can any of you please listen to this video I compiled and see if you can identify any of the pieces of music? Out of the ~40 songs, I have identified about 6 or 7 and you'll see that in the video on some of the titles.
These are from a series of video games called The Bard's Tale. I got kind of obsessed with this project so I'll spare you all the details unless you just really want to know about it. There are a couple of songs by William Byrd from the 1500s. (they're marked - you'll see them in the titles). I know there are originals too, but which are originals and which are arrangements of existing old music? That's what I'm hoping you can help with. If you identify any here in the forum, I'll happy to give you credit in a new version of the video with whatever name you like. You can also leave them in the comments in the video in addition. The music is all recorded from these old video games from the 1980s, so prepare yourself to hear some 1980s era sound synthesis of computers from that decade! Thanks in advance! Justin |

I should be clearer - anything that says "Tune ##" and it doesn't have a title is one where I could use a helping ear. :-). I'm sure many are original but some really sound like they could also be from the 1500s.
