Song mentioning San Quentin death row and the phone number

I don’t remember any lyrics other than “San Quentin prison, death row” and it also included the phone number, which I inexplicably remember some 30 years later. (415-454-1460).

As near as I can recall, I think it was a sort of political/post-punk/avant-garde type song - might have almost bordered on spoken word. I think it would have been mid-late 80s.

You’ll be my hero if you know the song I’m thinking of - it pops into my mind every so often and I’ve been trying to recall it or find it for years.
