Default Unknown Song from 03/04

I have tried Shazam and all the other variants of the same idea with no success. Does anyone know the song that I can be heard attempting to recreate on an online piano here:

?

I think the year was about 03 or 04 but I'm not sure. I get the feeling the artist was from the UK, but that could be wrong. I just know the song got a lot of play on this side of the Atlantic, not sure how it was on the other side.

Did you basically spam 15 posts just so you could post that link?

Why no, of course not. I saw several threads of interest and added comments where relevant, some of which just so happened to be about five words long.

Anyway...the song? Anyone?

I would describe the song as being somewhere between light R&B and flatout pop.

There's a sort of quick metronomic beat that alternates between a loud and a soft sound. Like BING, bong, BING, bong. And then the chords I tried to replicate kick in, which sound like someone saying "baw baw baw".

Also, for UK people I think it was used in an ad for Curry's Christmas sale a few years back.
