Help! Song from the 60's in German - maybe Patsy Cline??

Hello all -

I am in desperate need of help identifying a song my dad always used to sing to me when I was little - I believe it was Patsy Cline, but it might not be. I can remember listening to the song on vinyl when I was little.

The only lyrics I can clearly remember are that it starts with "eine kleine Italienne" (I think!). Definitely a female singer, and I imagine it was the sixties or maybe the fifties when it came out. I have tried all the web searches and have come up with nothing - my dad died about ten years ago, and I would love to be able to hear this song again!
