Default Cannot find this music - True Detective video

Greetings,

For a while now I have been unable to find the music that plays in this video, specifically music starting from the 50 second mark (if by any chance two melodies were edited together). If anyone can point me in any direction, I would be really grateful.

If you know what episode it's from you can check each all the songs on each episode on IMDB.

Unfortunately I don't think the music was actually used in the show. This is simply an edit someone made, using quotes from the show, mainly from episode 1x3 and 1x5, and music which I cannot find. I appreciate the help nonetheless, Batlord.

Maybe try asking the person that uploaded and made that edit?

Shazam couldn't find it either.

It sounds like an instrumental that someone just put together themselves and not a song from a band.

Thanks for the reply, djchameleon. I asked the uploader a while ago, but they did not answer. I figured that as well, that it could be something someone made themselves, but it doesn't seem like the person who made that video made the music judging by other videos so they either found it or the video came from somewhere else which I have yet to find.

Might just be one of those hopeless searches, you know? Yet, much like the Sundering Elves, I will keep on fighting the long defeat even if there is only a fool's hope left.

Much obliged. Best of luck on your adventures as well. May they be bountiful, numerous and retold in ages to come.
