Exclamation A semi-slow song from the the 80's or beginning 90's.

It features a black girl sitting on a chair or standing; singing: 'oh oh oh iyeah' in the refrain, with a white middle aged man sitting next to her, with a guitar.

Like it's in the title: It's a song from the 80's or beginning 90's.

Can someone please help?

Is the black girl singer the lead singer?

If so, then the band could be on this list.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

For some reason it makes me think of Everyday I Write the Book by Elvis Costello, but that's probably not it.
