Kroger Radio - Sounds Like Early Depeche Mode
There is a song that airs occasionally on the Kroger radio, I work there and so I crank the store radio up in the kiosk whenever it is on (usually between 5 AM to 7 AM). The style is early synth pop, I would say approximately 1979-1985 with a repetitive beat and synthesizer riffs that intensify in the final moment. The singers have obvious English accents. The lyrics go something like:
For seven years! With blood like ice! Your body burns me, turns me to your grave! For seven years! Images that break with time, nothing there...for seven years! I wish I could find the name of this song. |
