Grey's Anatomy older song

So, my wife was making me watch this show against my will and a song came on that I meant to Shazam but didn't.

I don't remember the episode or any words to it. But its a late 60s-70s song by a guy. It was the only hit he had and the show used his full name; first, middle and last. It was a slower acoustic song, he had a very gentle voice.

I wish I had more details but I dont, sorry about that. But any ideas/links on what it might be would be real appreciated. I know this show didnt have much older music in it but I havent been able to narrow it down.
