pls help...downtown?????

Hey everyone,
So, I heard this song in the gym the other day and I really loved it. The problem is I literally only remember one word.

the chorus starts with the word downtown, and it's kind of drawn out, and moves from a higher note to a lower note at the syllable break
the verses are rap and have a vibe kinda like kid cudi
the chorus sounds akin to coldplay

I know it's a tough one but I'd really love some help because I still can't stop thinking about how much I liked this song. Thanks to anyone who can help!
