Default French version of a song

I once listened to the radio hearing this very song, but in french:

the refrain of the french version was : je t'aime, je t'aime

does anybody know the name of the french version?

Are you sure it's the same song?
This one doesn't even have a real refrain, he just finishes a verse with "I like you" (said once) from time to time. I tried to find some info about a cover of this in German, but found absolutely nothing.

I actually did some research myself, but couldn't find much, thus asking here.

I heard the song ~1970; radio (French most likely)

The main resemblance is the melody at the beginning ( maybe a bit faster, almost feels like a song from military)

The "je t'aime je t'aime" part doesn't have to be a refrain per se. But it definitely comes up.

Maybe it isn't even a cover, but it sounds very similar.

Thank you for your time
