Heard a song on a rock radio station in my car but can't remember the name.

Moderately up-tempo, around 110 bpm constant throughout. Starts off with a clean electric guitar strumming a two-bar chord pattern. I-I-I-I-IV-IV-IV-V-IV Straight for first seven chords, syncopated on 8th & 9th. Then solo male vocal comes in over the guitar pattern. Both guitar and vocals are rather "dry" (little effects processing.) After intro, drums and bass come in for all verses and chorus. At that point, typical rock effects - lots of reverb, thick mix. Chorus lyrics are either "Too Far Away..." or "So Far Away..." in a rhythm of eighth-dotted quarter, eights-dotted quarter followed by syncopated quarter notes of I-II-III-IV-I.

I'm thinking it was the first big hit for the group that did it. I believe it was released between the years 2005-2010 or so and it was probably a top 40 hit cuz it got a moderate amount of airplay at the time on rock stations. The group may have had a couple of other hits, but didn't last.

If you're over 50% confident in your answer that's good enough for me. I'd be happy to check 20-30 wrong answers if I can find the correct one. Want to add it to my music library. Thanks for taking the time to read my verbose description. Did I overachieve??? LOL
