Name a song from music video description. 90's alternative/grunge

Hey everyone i have been searching for this video for over 5 years

It's a music video that mtv or much music from around 1995-1999, the music video is about these 2 guys in suits searching a building going room to room with flashlights and they encounter an alien looking dog. while a post grunge band plays in a room, every time they played the video they never showed the bands name or the song title. if anyone knows what the song is called or the bands name please let me know? Oh and one of the guys has multicolored dreadlocks and glasses!! It may have been a Canadian band, since it played in Canada but i'm not positive on that..

Rockwell - somebody's watching me?
Sounds like It could be Nine inch nails song as well but in that I'm no expert.
