Latin/funk/dance infused indie rock/punk band that I CANNOT remember the name of!
 

Holy **** guys this is killing me, and for the life of me, I can't find this stupid group. They're kinda Latin, kinda funky, definitely danceable, punk rock. The music is usually upbeat and fun, the lyrics are a strangled, moaned gibberish. In fact, I'm fairly certain the "lyrics" are actual nonsense, or at least in some language that I can't discern. I don't know how old the band is, but the album I've heard came out within the last few years, maybe 2012, more or less. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Brazilian Girls?

The Brazillian Girls started around '03, and released their debut in '05. They split for awhile, and probably rejoined.

I was going to say Thievery Corporation, but they even go back further, and there's nothing Punk about them that I heard from them.
