I remember the clip but not the name of the song!

Hi folks,
I am trying to find a song I know I liked because I watched the video clip a million times. That is probably why I still remember the video clip but not the name of the song (or the lyrics for that matter). What I do (think I) know about the song is that it is regular pop from 2014 or maybe 2013. The singer is male and it is probably some type of love song, given the clip.

Ok, so here is what I can remember about the video clip: there is a girl which looks a bit old school (very decent dress and white (?) gloves). She is escorted to a bar or something by two not very kind looking men (kind of like bodyguards or something). The singer is on stage performing and they are making eye contact. Then there is a part I don't really remember. In the end they run away together from the bar, but they don't get really far because they get run over by a car (a minivan, I guess) at the first intersection.

I'm so hoping you can name the tune!
