Default What is this amazing song?

I heard a very catchy tune in a pub the other day, unfortunately all I caught was the the very end of the song. I'm guessing that it's an alternative rock or indie song since i have a vague memory of hearing it on an alternative station before.

I'm 90% certain that it's either from the 90s or 2000s.

The only other details I can give is that it's a slow, sad, and melancholy tune and the only lyric I could catch was "Take you away" which I heard at the end of the song. And no, it's not 'Blurry' by Puddle of Mudd, unfortunately.

The singer sounds a little bit like a subdued Perry Farrell, or the lead singer of Pixies.

Thanks a bunch MusicBanter!

PS There's also a higher than normal chance it's a Canadian band :P

First post yay!

Afraid not, Embry

I don't think this song has heavily distorted guitars. As I said, I don't think it was ever a major hit. The tempo is also slower than most Nirvana songs.

Anyone else? This song should still be a regular on alt rock radio, based on where I heard it from.
