Need help finding Victory chimes

there is a song from (Im guessing) the 70's called victory chimes,

It isnt from the irish rovers I don't believe (no accents) but if anyone knows of another artist and where I can get the recording it would be greatly appreciated.

The song concerns a young boy and his grandfather and a horse he owned.

I should mention I posted this same thread somewhere on this website before I found this section and reposted when I never found where the first attempt went.

Also it would be an accustic story telling kinda song

I grew up with this album playing on 8 track. There was a time in the early 80’s when the Irish Rovers dropped the “Irish” part and simply went as The Rovers. They had an album called The Rovers and Victory Chimes is on that album, along with Wasn’t That A Party. I have it now in LP vinyl form, but haven’t seen it (or the lyrics) in a digital format. One of these days I’ll convert it into MP3 (or whatever...)

I've found the song you're after. It's by the Halos, not the Rovers, which explains why you couldn't find it - you were looking for the wrong band!
