Identify this very famous/common piece

Hey, I just registered here just so you guys can tell me what this is.
I've heard this piece a thousand times and the fact I can't remember the name is driving me crazy these past 2 days. Though I could remember after a good night's sleep but nope.

It's a clarinet sonata, but I don't think it's very famous. Sounds vaguely Mozart-esque, but much simpler (unless it's a piece he wrote when he was a kid). Could be an amateur's composition.

BTW, I think this is the piece you're thinking of as being "famous." Sounds similar to the video above.

Oh, it's a famous piece alright. I've heard it countless times but just not sure what it is. Thanks for transmitting that feeling. I hope someone eventually knows what it's called.

It sounds a bit like the Spohr 'Romance for clarinet and piano'. Check that work out. Or something like it. It could be an arrangement of a piano piece of the early romantic period.
