So, while listening to Stolen Dance by Milky Chance I suddenly got a strong nostalgic feeling about the melody, especially in the chorus. 3 of my friends also confirmed this. We have no idea why.

Does it happen to anyone else? Could someone actually recognize where this is from?

Yesss!!! Me too! Definitely get it from the way the chorus is sung. I know that I am thinking of an alternative-ish 90's song and I know I used to enjoy that song. But I can't remember anything else. It's driving me absolutely batty. I haven't had this much trouble placing a song before. Uhhhhg!

The melody reminds me a bit of "Shape of My heart" by Sting. You could also be thinking of "Save Tonight" by Eagle Eyed Cherry which also popped into my head when I heard the song?

Just heard the song this week, since I first heard it I had the exact same questions as you and it has been driving me crazy trying to remember what it reminds me of.
