Looking for name of old song

Hello,

In my childhood (2000-2002) there was this song that I can barely remember, but I just loved it so much. I heard it again on the radio about a year ago, still couldn't find it.

The lyrics go something like this:
"What it takes to be... my love for you is ...(something I can't pronounce or haven't hear it)"

The tone of the song resembles that of "Show me the meaning of being lonely - Backstreet boys". So naturally i tried to listen to all hit songs by backstreet boys, and it's not there. I also tried bad boys blue, couldn't find it there.

Any suggestions? I appreciate it. This thing is seriously haunting me...
