There's an app that listens to the song and tells you what it is. What time frame and genre are we talking about here? What is the complete name of the song? Have you tried searching for lyrics based upon the chorus of this song?

Good question Puffnstuff, time frame no idea anything from dave allen and gong to now.....no lyrics...its rock, but psyadelic rock, hints of loads of guys, a real tricky one, itunes and shazam dont recognise it...and I think the full title is as I have given it OR OBSTACULAR QUOTE is a posability, would gladly upload the tune to anybody who thinks they can get this monkey off my back
