Dos anyone know what song this is?

I've been searching for this song for about 2 years. I don't remember much about the song. I think that it is a rock song by either a male singer or male group, but I won't rule anything out. For the year I think mid 90's - early 00's. All I remember is that the song had either 2 violins or 1 violin and a viola. they both played several notes at the same time, and then did so again after a short pause. Here is a site I tried to use to imitate how the song could have sounded like, or violin part that is.

I posted some sort of imitated recording on youtube. I can't post links. In order to access it go on youtube and enter this in the search box. "Unknown 90s-00s Violin Song Please Help Identify It" The video should show a blue question mark.

Song may not have been very popular, but it was enough to get played on the radio. The first one I haven't heard in a while. Maybe one of those songs that can be on a top 50 list for a year and disappears a few years after it comes out.

Can you tell us some lyrics? The first song that came to my mind was Lynch Mob - Dream Until Tomorrow but help us out some.

Not the song, Thanks Puffnstuff but that is the problem. I would have mentioned whatever lyric I remember. I don't recall a single word from the song, and this is why the search just continues on and on.

Thanks, but that isn't it. I just posted this on another forum. Not so sure if this is the same song or at the very least similar but here are two people that looked for a song with a violin. I know mine has two, but you never know.

In the first song the violin played something, then stopped, and played the same thing again. Of course what I'm looking for has two while he said violin in singular form, but you never know. The person posted the question on yahoo. The question was "90s violin song semi rock but it's not rock n roll song?"

The 2nd person searched for a song that also had a violin part playing 4 or 5 notes, with being repeated. Once again, not too sure if this is the same song or is something different. The site was onehitwonders on their forum. the topic was "Alternative 90s song with violin" and the user was "JP11283".

It would be great if at least one of the songs was the one I was looking for.
