Recent rock(ish) song
 

I've never had trouble finding a song's name and artist before now.. but I've heard the song twice already and no matter how much i Google the lyrics I can't seem to find it. Both times I heard the song on the radio (it would have been a rock station, or Jack FM, if that means anything to anyone).

It is sung by a female singer, and I wouldn't really define it as rock exactly, but it fits that character better than any other I can think of. The lyrics that I can remember (something MUST be wrong here though, or else I wouldn't be resorting to asking for help) are as follows, but in no particular order:
