Need help finding this song.. it's killin me
 

It's some 70's soul song i think.

I heard it when i stepped into a bar earlier,so with all the chatter i didn't hear any of the words the singer said.. but it sounded like some 70's soul song, had an upbeat saxophone or trombone playing in the background music. From what i remember, they played in a pattern like this: (had to put it together real quick with a crappy VST plugin) limelinx (.) com/6ytl

Also the singer sounded like a black man, he was singing his ass off.. almost sounded like Levi Stubbs.

It's a longshot... but could it have been Groovin' (on a Sunday Afternoon) by the Young Rascals?
