Need Help with the title of a 70s song
 

My family and I were just listening to a song that was recorded off an album from the 70s and love the song but have NO idea what the name of the song is or the artist. My mom actually used to listen to it when she was growing up and she swears it was popular and came off an actual record. I've tried to shazam it, no luck. Typed a few of the lyrics into google and nothing comes back. It's a disco type song with a male singer and there's definitely a band as the accompaniment.

It starts like a chant almost with...

"Ohhh rain, ohhhh rain, ohhhh rain"
Then it goes into an instrumental section.

I couldn't get all the lyrics but some of them are...
"The wind is blowing me away, blowing just the same"

And I think the chorus is something like standing in the rain.

That's all I could get so if anyone out there is familiar with this song and knows the name of the song or artist that would be amazing!
