Psycalellic guitar ?
Trying to chase some crazy guitar tunes from the awesome late 60's and 70's.
Something like Floyd's LIVE version of " Careful with that axe Eugene ". If you haven't heard it... trust me ! It grooves ! I'm sure there is someone out there with the music encyclopedia can point me in the right direction. I have many artists like Robin Trower, Hendrix, Floyd, and the mainstream stuff, but what I'm craving is the long prog psychedelic crazy guitar riffs that sometimes makes your hairs stand on end ! I have many, many different artists, but looking to find something a little off the usual mainstream stuff. Even international stuff like " The Electric Family" and their song "Airchild" Any suggestions ?? |

Psycalellic? You mean psychedelic?
Some Hendrix you may not have heard: It's actually called 'Jungle', I believe. Off the 'Morning Symphony Ideas' album. This will put you in a trance after a bowl or two, mainly the fast two minutes. Villanova Junction Blues - Jimi Hendrix - YouTube This isn't necessarily very psychedelic, but it'll surprise you that this was recorded in 1954. It was way ahead of it's time and it's a shame he doesn't get more credit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVsNlchp0GE Last edited by blastingas10; 02-25-2012 at 09:03 PM. |
